The Central Indiana Corporate Partnership (CICP) brings together chief executives from Central Indiana’s most prominent corporations, foundations, and universities to further the region’s continued prosperity and growth. They have five branded talent and industry sector initiatives, each targeting unique challenges and opportunities.
CICP sought a way to articulate the collective impact of their work through data-driven storytelling. They engaged Resultant for a Strategic Data Roadmap, with primary objectives to:
- Establish organization-wide focus areas.
- Identify critical data measures to demonstrate impact and inform strategy.
- Obtain a roadmap for consolidating data to effectively narrate CICP’s story.
Our discovery phase began with CICP’s people
Understanding CICP’s current data landscape, collection gaps, and how well their data supports desired outcomes required a thorough process of discovery, analysis, and planning. These integral steps of the Strategic Data Roadmap began with listening to people.
We connected with stakeholders across CICP and its sponsored initiatives. We facilitated regular meetings and conducted numerous interviews. Our process included six workshops to discuss ongoing projects and uncover key metrics. We also conducted a stakeholder mapping exercise and an all-employee survey, among other regular communications to ensure alignment and progress.
How a Strategic Data Roadmap provides clarity
This work has empowered CICP to tell a more cohesive, data-backed story of their activities to further their mission of transforming the economy of Indiana to create sustainable prosperity and quality of life for our citizens and future generations.
Resultant not only addressed the immediate needs of CICP but also provided a clear path for implementing data-driven methodologies in their future strategic initiatives.
