Resultant Honored with Two TechPoint Mira Awards

Resultant was honored with the receipt of two 2020 Mira Awards during the 21st presentation of TechPoint’s annual Mira Awards on Thursday, June 18th. TechPoint, the nonprofit, industry-led growth accelerator for Indiana’s tech ecosystem, honored the successes and innovation of Indiana people, places, companies, and products during the first-ever virtual Mira Awards gala.

Resultant’s Mira Awards

Scale-Up of the Year

In 2019, Resultant grew by over 85% while serving our mission of helping clients, coworkers, and communities thrive. A focus on delivering exceptional work to our clients and hiring and cultivating incredible talent supported our 2019 growth and has fueled continued acceleration of our growth.

“Resultant was not a traditional candidate for the Scale-up of the Year award. As an 11-year old tech, data, and management consulting firm, they didn’t raise capital and they don’t sell a product. However, the tremendous expansion the company experienced following its acquisition in April 2019 by Renovus Capital Partners thrust Resultant into a growth stage rarely seen by pure consulting firms.”

TechPoint

Resultant grew in 2019 by focusing on some of its most meaningful, far-reaching, and innovative work to date at the federal, state, and local levels as well as for private and not-for-profit entities in Indy and beyond. They began helping address national security supply chain risk, developing a national data-sharing platform, supporting quantifiable outcome reporting for not-for-profits, helping organizations make data-driven decisions with KPI dashboards, and many more data- and tech-oriented partnerships that will have a lasting impact in local communities and beyond.”

Service Partner of the Year

Resultant received this award in recognition of the work we have done in partnership with the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), Crane Division developing a part-centric supply chain awareness tool that will determine the supply chain risk of specified microelectronic components for system design and the overall acquisition process.

“The project was conceived, executed and implemented in a remarkably short four-month period in 2019. The complexity of the project is evidenced by a list of some of its components, including cloud-native architecture, probabilistic record linkage, machine learning techniques, a robust risk rules engine, multi-level network mapping, automated data ingestion and analysis of over 20 structured and unstructured datasets, and all with an easy-to-use web-based user interface that is scalable, flexible, transferrable, and secure.”

The Mira Awards judges were particularly struck by a complex and far-reaching public sector project with national security implications that Resultant worked on with Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane Division. By incorporating numerous cutting-edge analytical capabilities, Resultant was able to help Crane achieve a 40% reduction in a critical supply chain risk-assessment process. That 40% reduction is the difference between a risk assessment taking more than three days to complete or a day and a half.”
