Nathaniel Lewis works where financial ambition meets operational reality. With 20 years advising private equity sponsors, Fortune 500 executives, and deal teams on strategy and value creation, he has built a practice around one persistent problem: the gap between what a deal thesis promises and what an organization can actually execute.
Nate’s career traces a deliberate path through the institutions that shape how complex organizations change. He spent eight years at IBM as an Associate Partner, leading enterprise transformation and technology strategy engagements across global clients. He then joined Alvarez & Marsal as a Director, where he worked alongside some of the most demanding restructuring and performance improvement engagements in the industry, before returning to Liberty Advisor Group, a Resultant Company, where he now serves as Senior Partner and Head of Strategy & Value Creation.
At Liberty, Nate leads the firm’s Corporate Development group and works across its most strategic priorities — shaping Liberty’s direction, evolving its service offerings, and personally leading the firm’s most complex divestitures, carve-outs, and special situations. He has advised on transactions and transformations exceeding $5 billion in enterprise value and is recognized for translating financial and operational complexity into strategies that move quickly from the whiteboard to measurable EBITDA impact.
Nate holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a B.S. in Information Technology from Rochester Institute of Technology. He is based in Charlotte, North Carolina.
