Resultant Senior Manager of Cybersecurity Consulting John Otte helps organizations build comprehensive cybersecurity programs that are both reasonable and defensible. His path into cybersecurity began in the U.S. Army, where he spent 21 years serving in law enforcement and digital forensics. Those experiences continue to shape his approach to helping organizations manage risk.
John holds master’s degrees in information assurance and business administration, along with an extensive set of industry certifications, including C|CISO, CISSP, CISA, and CISM. Guided by purposeful empathy, he brings a people-first mindset to protecting the organizations he serves.
Outside of work, John volunteers in emergency services across fire, EMS, and rescue, and is passionate about teaching first responders how to manage critical incident stress. That passion led him to create a weekly first responder wellness podcast for peer supporters. A natural behind the microphone, he channels his broadcasting talents into supporting the people who spend their careers helping others.
