David Federico leads the M&A and Transaction Services practice at Liberty Advisor Group, a Resultant company, advising private equity firms, investment banks, and corporate clients on the technology and operational decisions that determine whether a deal succeeds or struggles.
Across more than a decade at Liberty and 150+ engagements, David has worked on multi-billion-dollar acquisitions, complex carve-outs, post-merger integrations, and enterprise transformations for companies ranging from the middle market through the Fortune 50. His work lives at the intersection of deal execution and operational reality. He focuses on the questions that do not always make it into the CIM: whether the technology stack can support the thesis, whether the data the management team runs on is actually reliable, and whether the integration plan will hold up once the deal closes.
Before Liberty, David served as Head of Divestitures and Acquisition Integration at Cuesta Partners, where he led post-close integration work for PE-backed clients. He also served concurrently as CTO of MicroSonic Solutions, overseeing proprietary product development while supporting commercial partnerships with major airlines, K-12 schools, and hotel companies.
David holds a B.S. from Miami University and is based in Chicago. He serves on the board of MicroSonic Solutions.
