Serving over 3,100 children and families every day, The Villages of Indiana offers a variety of programs and services, including foster care, adoption, and family services. Established in 1978, this statewide organization is committed to strengthening families and working to ensure every Hoosier child has a safe, permanent, and nurturing home.
The Villages’ mission strikes a chord with Resultant and our partnership has extended well beyond that of an IT managed services provider.
Since the initiation of our partnership, Resultant has become a corporate partner as well, supporting The Villages as volunteers and sponsors while providing critical cloud-based managed services for staff to fulfill their work supporting families and children as one of Indiana’s largest not-for-profit child and family services agency.
Technology Partnership
In fall 2017, The Villages hired Resultant to conduct a technology assessment. As is typical of this work, the Technology Services team provided analysis as well as a roadmap to help The Villages modernize their technology to keep up with their team and mission. One of the primary recommendations was to move The Villages’ systems to modern cloud-based IT systems.
The Villages’ IT Director Raymond Manley also sang the praises of the transition, explaining; “We’re now on the cutting edge of where we should be.”
The implementation of a new infrastructure helped The Villages transform the way that their team works. Not only did these updates improve day-to-day operations, but when the office was shut down and employees began working from home in March of 2020, The Villages continued to function at their highest level, serving Hoosier children and families without missing a beat.
“Because we were set up for remote work, the team and organization were able to transition their work successfully in early 2020. Our team is continuing to look for ways to improve. That’s something we take pride in,” said AJ Watson, Resultant Director of IT Managed Services.
Serving The Villages
Throughout the years of partnership, Resultant has also supported The Villages with multiple service-related initiatives. In 2018, the team planned a Community Day in which half the organization dedicated a day to help one of the Villages’ centers shine. Over 75 team members painted, cleaned, mulched, and more. This year, Resultant is volunteering in the Holiday Drive-Thru celebration for foster and kinship care families in December as well as sponsoring The Villages’ main events like the Golf Outing.
