CHA Leverages Resultant’s Data Assessment to Save Over $2M Annually
As the national voice of more than 220 children’s hospitals, The Children’s Hospital Association (CHA) had a vision of advancing their data and analytics program with the goal of getting data to their customers faster. Dated data infrastructure meant CHA needed to take a step back to look at this initiative more holistically. Cloud migration was under consideration, but many stakeholders were concerned with security and compliance requirements. To assist CHA in developing a plan to implement an extensive data and analytics transformation, Resultant introduced the strategic data assessment (SDA) framework. The SDA framework is an approach to thoroughly understanding a client’s data challenges and systematically evaluating areas of the organization that will lead to a more impactful transformation.

The SDA framework and recommendations implemented helped CHA develop a comprehensive plan that would unite the entire organization around the vision and what the data transformation journey would entail.
Upon completion of the evaluation, we provided a comprehensive presentation and detailed report to CHA’s data transformation initiative steering committee with these recommendations.
