Prior to coming aboard the Resultant team, Amit enhanced client relationships in the wealth management division of a global financial services corporation by providing insights and facilitating investments across multiple channels. Later, he worked with a global management consulting firm helping public and private sector clients implement transformational IT initiatives at the enterprise level. Preston Howell’s driving force stems from a passion to use data to improve human lives, build thriving businesses, and create a better society. He’s always loved numbers, people, and connecting analytical thinking to people and the businesses they build. He considers data consulting to be the best world in which to bring people and numbers together.

Preston currently fuels this passion by building two consulting practices within Resultant: Professional Services and Private Equity.

He established Resultant’s Professional Services market vertical in 2024—a path that began more than ten years ago when he was an intern tasked with helping leadership understand trends in the business. He’s turned that entry-level project into a fully developed Analytics Engine offering, one that provides more than $2.5 million annually to Resultant in EBITDA impact through increases in utilization, rates, hiring strategies, and margin preservation. He’s now offering this solution to other ProServ firms to measure and improve their organizational health.

He co-established Resultant’s Private Equity (PE) practice in 2023 along with vertical lead Amit Parikh. Heading up the solution side of the practice, Preston drives value creation for PE firms and their portfolio companies.
