INDIANAPOLIS (March 21, 2023) — Resultant, a leading consulting firm specializing in technology, data analytics and digital transformation, announced today that it has promoted Jess Carter to Vice President of Client Experience and Delivery Operations.
In her new role, Carter leads the creation of standards and best practices to ensure consistency in the experience and outcomes Resultant delivers for clients in both the public and private sectors. She oversees delivery operations for more than 230 consultants, data engineers, data scientists, BI developers, project managers, and engagement managers and has implemented programs to improve client listening, data-driven staffing and quality assurance across professional services.
Carter is also the host of Data Driven Leadership, a podcast that demystifies data so leaders can harness it with clarity and confidence. Since launching in September 2022, Data Driven Leadership has seen 5,000 episode downloads and consistent 5-star ratings across podcasting platforms.

Since joining Resultant as a project manager in 2014, Carter has led new, large-scale system modernization and data initiatives in unemployment, workforce development, public health, and motor vehicle projects across several states. A trusted advisor to government agencies, Carter is particularly adept at leading data science projects that drive results. In 2020, Carter assisted in leading data efforts for the State of Indiana’s response to Covid-19, including supporting the team modeling how various policy scenarios would impact hospitalizations.
Carter is a 2010 graduate of Taylor University, where she received a Bachelor’s degree in International Studies: Missions. In her spare time, Jess enjoys spending time with her family and furthering her knowledge of cognitive science as an avenue to better understand brain function and our ability to replicate it using artificial intelligence.
