Recognized for leadership and innovation in data-driven workforce solutions
Great consulting careers are built by solving real problems.
Consulting Magazine recently named Senior Data Science Manager Alexa Myers a Rising Star of the Year, an award recognizing emerging leaders who are driving the next generation of consulting through innovation, leadership, and real-world results.
From early career consultant to data leader
Alexa graduated from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology before data science was a formalized major, charting her own path into the field by combining disciplines that would later define modern data science.
She joined Resultant prior to graduation as an early-career consultant and has quickly become a leader on complex data initiatives that help public-sector organizations turn information into better decisions for the communities they serve.
Alexa was the technical solution owner for Indiana’s PIVOT workforce recommendation engine, helping lead the end-to-end delivery of one of the most innovative workforce tools in the country.
PIVOT uses data to connect individuals with training and career opportunities that support long-term economic mobility. Workers who accepted their top recommended job through PIVOT saw average wage increases of nearly $4 per hour, almost triple the gains of non-users.
This recognition doesn’t surprise me at all. Alexa earns it every day. She brings rare depth to her craft and an even rarer ability to make that work matter to the people on the other end of it. Watching her grow our data science capability while staying grounded in real outcomes for real people is exactly what we built this team to do.
– Resultant VP of Technical Delivery Sindhu Venkata
Alexa was a 2023 TechPoint Tech 25 Award nominee and a 2020 Indy Hackers Rising Star of the Year. After seeing the need in the public sector for help with AI adoption, she pursued further studies at Notre Dame, intrigued by their focus on Data Science Storytelling. She earned her MS in Data Science there in 2023.
