Sara Hunter

Sara Hunter

Sr. Consultant, Education Services | K12 Lead

Sara Hunter majored in theater and minored in business, fully expecting to travel down the director/producer path, but when she began working for a school, she discovered her true passion was for education.

“At that point,” said Sara, “I went back to school for a teaching certification and a master’s in education.”

After teaching for several years, she accepted the challenge of a new, nontraditional role as STEM teacher and coach, enabling her to work with every student at the school and collaborate with teachers to weave STEM into the classroom. Sara later served as the K-12 STEM coordinator for an Indiana school district, advocating for teachers to implement technology in the schools and receive professional development skills in technology.

Sara is an expert in helping schools implement new standards and processes that make administrator’s lives easier, give teachers greater ability to transform student lives, and provide actionable insights for everyone from superindentents to parents.

She’s a mom of two and co-leads her daughter’s Girl Scout troop, where she enjoys leading inspirational conversations with young women about all the amazing opportunities they have available. Sara was a Girl Scout Gold Award project advisor for a former student whose Spread Positivity  project brings awareness to mental health issues growing out of the COVID-19 pandemic.
