Shahriar Khan helps state and municipal clients nationwide leverage data to drive improved, meaningful health outcomes.

He previously served as a senior advisor for Health and Human Services in the Office of the Mayor of New York City,  managing elements of the COVID-19 response in one of the hardest-hit locations in the country.

Prior to working in City Hall, Shahriar led priority turnaround projects for NYC Health + Hospitals, the largest public hospital system in the country. His $2 billion portfolio included ambulatory care expansion, launching a health coverage program for undocumented New Yorkers, system real estate realignment, campus master planning efforts, and clinical process improvements.

Shahriar also formed and led the healthcare industry team at the New York City Economic Development Corporation where he ran the city’s programs to support the burgeoning digital health and life sciences ecosystems, grow opportunities for the direct care workforce, and increase access to primary care through Federally Qualified Health Care (FQHC) expansion.
